Juanita Walker, 96, of Plainview, passed away at 3:55 a.m. Sunday, January 21, 2007 in Hale Center. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2007 in First Baptist Church Family Life Chapel with Dr. Travis Hart officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mrs. Walker was born July 18, 1910 in Indian Territory, Oklahoma to Earnest and Katherine White Bradley. She graduated high school in the Running Water Draw Community. She married Ralph Walker on January 21, 1934. He passed away on October 28, 2000. She was a member of the Snyder Home Demonstration Club and First Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Neysa Carmichael of Plainview; one son, Tommy Walker of Uvalde; one sister: Lois Osburn of Colorado Springs, CO; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Walker and two sisters, Margie Duvall and Ethel Belk.
