Betty Jo (Boyd) Johnson (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas— Betty Jo (Boyd) Johnson, 40, died Friday, January 26, 2007 in Amarillo. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Wednesday, January 31, 2007 in the New Fellowship Baptist Church with Rev. Matthew Veals, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Floydada Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. She was born April 19, 1966 in Olton. She attended schools in Hereford where she graduated from high school. She was a cafeteria manager for Tyson’s in Amarillo. Survivors include her son; Steven Boyd of Tulia, her mother; Mary Wilson of Tulia, two sisters; Laura Casel of Amarillo and Rachel Boyd of Tulia, one granddaughter; Stevanna Boyd of Tulia, two nieces; Vanessa Boyd and Kiyonna Boyd, three nephews; Allen Casel, Michael Casel and Chase Boyd, and a host of aunts and uncles.
