John Stephen McVicker

John Stephen McVicker, 49, of Lubbock passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2007 at his residence. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 2, 2007 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Rev. Don Robertson officiating. Mr. McVicker was born July 18, 1957 in Plainview, Texas. He grew up in Plainview and graduated from Plainview High School in 1977. He worked for Pioneer Seed for several years before moving to the Dallas area. He then moved to Lubbock in 1983. He was a volunteer at The Haven, and was a member of the College Heights Baptist Church. Survivors include his mother, Elaine McVicker of Plainview; two sisters, Stephanie Lindsey of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Sheila Westbrook of Lubbock; one brother, Dee McVicker of Plainview; 7 nieces and nephews, Lori Rodriquez, Seth Westbrook, Jordan McVicker, Ryan Westbrook, AnnDee McVicker, Tanner Rodriquez, and Tyler Rodriquez. He was preceded in death by his father, George McVicker. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the American Association for Klinefelter Syndrome Information and Support (AAK SIS), 2945 West Farwell, Chicago, IL 60645-2925
