Wayne Hawkins (Plainview)

Wayne Allen Hawkins, passed away February 4, 2007 in Folsom, California. Mr. Hawkins was born in Clinton, Oklahoma on May 8, 1924. Wayne was a longtime resident of Texas, and currently a resident of Fair Oaks, California. He served in WWII in the Army Air Force and also of good standing of Angles of the American Revolution. He was a Flight Service Specialist with the FAA for 35 years. Wayne is the beloved husband of Melvina “Penny” Hawkins for 57 years. Beloved Father of Carmen Martin, Cathy Johnson and husband David, Steven Hawkins, Cheryl Creek, Celia Bernal and husband William. Brother of Lillian Ashton, twin sister Wanda Catoe, Monnie Selke and husband Robert. Grandfather of Michelle Hawkins, Peter Johnson, Mack Martin, Adam Johnson, Austin Creek, Mark Johnson and Ryan Bernal. Great-grand father of Katrina Johnson. Friends are invited for visitation Wednesday, Feb 7, 2007 from 5 to 8 p.m. and Funeral Services Thursday February 8, 2007 at 3 p.m. both at Miller Funeral Home, 507 Scott Street, Folsom, CA. Visitation will also be held Saturday, February 10, 2007 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, and Funeral Services at 2 p.m. both at Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Interment will follow at Plainview Memorial Park.
