Glenn Norrell

Glenn Norrell, 49, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2007 in Plainview. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 19, 2007 at First Baptist Church with Dr. Travis Hart officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mr. Norrell was born on October 7, 1957 in Plainview, Texas to R.C. & Johnnie Fay Norrell. He graduated from Plainview High School in 1976. Mr. Norrell married Kym Murray on October 17, 1987 in Plainview. He worked with the Cotton Barron’s Ball for several years, he was secretary of the 4-H shooting sports, he was a board member of Habitat for Humanity, he was on the house and grounds committee at First Baptist Church, attended the Pastor’s Sunday school class, he was a member of the Jaycee’s and a member of First Baptist Church. Mr. Norrell owned and operated Norrell Roofing in Plainview. He is survived by his wife: Kym Norrell of Plainview; two sons: Brett Blenden and wife Tanya of Killeen, and Caleb Glenn Norrell of Plainview; His parents: R.C. & Johnnie Fay Norrell of Plainview; three sisters: Sherry Southerland and husband L.B. of Sherman, Connie Garris and husband Tim of Amarillo and LaFonda Wright and husband Kevin of Georgetown and four grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will be Sunday, February 18, 2007 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to Plainview Area Habitat for Humanity, P.O.
