Linda Beth "Susie" Jeffers (Plainview)

Linda Beth “Susie” Jeffers, 68, of Plainview, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2007. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2007 in the Chapel of the First United Methodist Church in Plainview. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the Garden of Memories in Paducah, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Ms. Jeffers was born on January 11, 1939 in Cottle County, Texas. She grew up on the 6666 ranch. She attended and graduated from Texas Tech University with her masters in Education. She taught school in Tulia for many years. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church and a member of the Koinonia Sunday School class. She was also a member of the Iota Tua Chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma. She was preceded in death by her parents, George “Coon” and Johnnie Jeffers. She is survived by her cousins, Freddie Jeffers and wife Jeanne of Emory, Texas, Joe Jeffers and wife Connie of San Angelo, Jeff Jeffers and wife Laura of Plano, Texas, and Carol Edmondson and husband Ricks of Krum, Texas.
