Ada Mae Brown (Plainview)

Ada Mae Brown, 80, of Plainview died August 20, 2023 in the City of West, Texas. Visitation will be held on Wednesday (August 23,2023) from 6-8 pm Kornerstone Funeral Home. Services to be Held on Thursday (August 24,2023) at 2 pm in Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel.

Ada was born on July 27th, 1943 in Granite, Oklahoma to Lee Reynolds and Lillie Mae Loftie and was later adopted by Jerry Nathaniel Means. She married Travis Lynn Brown on November 1, 1958 in Plainview, Tx. Ada worked as a cosmetologist, among other things. She was an avid quilter, was a member of BETA SIGMA PHI, and a loving mother and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, her husband Travis Brown, and 1 great granddaughter.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Diane Dorsey and Husband Jerry of Plainview, Becky Trevathan and husband Tom of Waco, and 1 son Bill Brown and wife Josie of Plainview, 9 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
