Adan Lerma (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas-Adan Lerma, 88, passed away on Friday, October 12, 2018 in Tulia. Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 16, 2018 in the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit with Father David Contreras officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

A prayer service will be held on Monday, October 15, 2018 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel.

Adan was born on March 17, 1930 in Waco, Texas. His parents were Jose Lorenzo and Luisa Lerma.  Adan worked for Taylor Evans and for the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit as the groundskeeper for many years. He enjoyed doing yard work and loved to visit with people. Adan was an outgoing man and a loving father who worked until the day he died.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Luisa Lerma, his brothers: Andres Farias, Antonio Olivarez, Federico Lerma, Jose Lerma, Larry Sr. Olivarez and Augustine Reyes, his sisters: Lorenza Trevino and Sara Delgado, his granddaughter: Crystal Vargas and his grandson: Dean Adan Lerma.

He is survived by his two sons: Daniel Lerma and Ruben Lerma, four daughters: Maria Victoria Lerma, Irma Lerma, Diana Regalado and Terry Soto, 21 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
