Alfred H. Barron (Plainview)

Alfred H. Barron, 78 of Hale Center, Texas passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at St. Alice Catholic Church with Father George Poonely officiating. Interment will follow in Hale Center Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

Rosary will be recited Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Barron was born on September 25, 1943 in Nordheim, Texas to Agapito and Otillia Barron. He was a member of St. Alice Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Barron of Hale Center; three daughters, Linda Wheeler and husband Tom of Lubbock, Meranda Sierra and husband Tony of Hale Center and Brenda and husband Andrew Jimenez of Hale Center; one son, Ricky Barron and wife Tonya of Stinnett; two sisters; nine grandchildren, Chris and Courtney Wheeler of Lubbock, Jesse and Melinda Wheeler of  Houston, Cagon, Brendon, Bryson Barron of Stinnett, Macie and Cade Sierra of Hale Center, Kyndal and Brayden Jimenez of Hale Center; three great grandchildren, Mckynzie, Avery and Wyatt Wheeler.
