Alice Faye Rachal (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Alice Faye Rachal, 71, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, in Tulia. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

Alice was born on April 20, 1951, in Cloutierville, Louisiana to Mitchell and Pearline Mary Rachal. Alice was a preschool teacher in Florence, California for several years before she retired in 2018. She then moved to Tulia where she was active as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, she was an avid walker, she loved to go to the Swisher County Library and she attended Tulia Christian Fellowship Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Melvin and Raymond Rachal.

She is survived by four sisters: Rose Rachal of Longview, Texas, Dolores Couty and husband Lawrence of Lena, Louisiana, Betty Byon of South Gate, California and Lela Rachal of Marianna, Florida. She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews as well as a host of close cousins, relatives and longtime friends.
