Alvaro Alonzo (Plainview)

Alvaro Alonzo, 75 of Hale Center passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024. Funeral services will be held at  10:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Hale Center, Texas.

Viewing hours will be Saturday, April 6, 10am to 8pm, Sunday April 7, 1pm to 8pm and Monday April 8, 9am to 8pm.

A rosary will be held at 6:00 P.M. Monday, April 8, 2024 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview.

Mr. Alonzo was born on February 19, 1949 in Hale Center, Texas to Preciliano & Santos (Tenorio) Alonzo. He married Margaret Rodriguez on August 16, 1968 in Plainview, Texas. He was a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Hale Center, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Margaret Alonzo and one brother, Jacinto Alonzo.

Mr. Alonzo is survived by one daughter, Melissa Alonzo of Hale Center, TX; two sons, Marcus Alonzo of Indio, CA and Jacob Alvaro Alonzo of Halfway, TX; one brother, Fernando Alonzo of Plano, TX; two sisters, Juanita Pineda of Hale Center, TX and Frances Alvarez of Plainview, TX; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
