Amado Sanchez (Plainview)

Amado A. Sanchez, Jr., 75, of Plainview passed away on September 5, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 10, 2021 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors. A visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Kornerstone. He was born on August 12, 1946 in Plainview, Texas to Amado A. and Ramona Sanchez. He grew up in Plainview and was a cook working in many restaurants in Plainview. He enjoyed music, family and watching sports. He really enjoyed working out and loved playing with his dogs. He married Olivia Nevares in November of 1967. He is preceded in death by his parents, Amado A. Sanchez, Sr. and Ramona (Armenta) Sanchez; a brother, Ramon Sanchez and a grandson, Johnny Ray Juarez. He is survived by his wife, Olivia Sanchez of Plainview; his children, Joe Nevares , Melinda Reyes, Dino Sanchez, Molly Sanchez and Gilbert Cedillo, Goldie Jacques, Paul Sanchez, Mikayla Jacques, Brandon Jacques, all of Plainview; brothers, Danny Sanchez and Ralph Sanchez, both of Muleshoe; a sister, Maryann Murillo of Muleshoe; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.
