Andres Salinas Rodriguez (Plainview)

Andres S. Rodriguez, 79, of Plainview passed away on Monday July 12, 2021. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, July 16, 2021 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel in Plainview with Rev. Esau S. Rodriguez officiating. Interment will follow in Halfway Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors. A wake will be held on Thursday July 15, 2021 at 6-8 P.M. at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel in Plainview. Andres was born on June 15, 1942 in Swinney Switch, TX to Andres and Serapia Rodriguez. He married Carmen Carrizales on August 17, 1963 in Beeville, Texas. Together they raised five children. He was preceded in death by his parents; a great-granddaughter, Addyson Rae Rodriguez; three brothers Tito Rodriguez, Miguel Rodriguez and Jose Rodriguez. He is survived by his wife, Carmen Rodriguez of Plainview; five children, Ernest & Mariana Rodriguez of Plainview, Daniel and Ofelia Rodriguez of Plainview, Andres Rodriguez III and Debra Gallardo of Plainview, Yolanda Rodriguez of Arlington, TX and Natalia and Blake Villanueva of Grand Prairie, TX; three siblings, Juan Rodriguez of Gruver, Eulogia Coronado of Amarillo and Dimas Rodriguez of Fort Worth, TX; fourteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
