Angel Garza (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas--Jose Angel Garza was born on January 15, 1971 in Tulia to David B Garza Sr and Eliza Z. Garza. He was raised in Tulia where he graduated from Tulia High School in 1989. He was the youngest of seven. He worked for Brad Hill for over 20 years and loved working in Agriculture. He was extremely passionate about his horses and the L.A. Rams. GO RAMS! Angel was dedicated to team and single roping and won many events over the years.

Angel was a caring, giving, kindhearted and loving son, brother, and uncle. He was a very well-known individual that had a heart of gold. He was a ray of sunshine that would light up the room. Always making you laugh until your cried with his jokes. He loved hosting family gatherings and was the life of the party with his unique dance moved that will be missed. He will be missed by many especially his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his brother Edward Garza.                                                            

He is survived by his father David B. Garza Sr of Tulia; mother Eliza Z. Garza of Amarillo; brother Joe Garza and wife Nelda of Tulia;  brother Luis Garza and wife Christina of Amarillo; brother Ruben Garza of Tulia; sister Sara Castellon and husband Val of Amarillo; and brother David Garza Jr of Amarillo; 18 nephews and nieces; 38 great nephews and nieces.

A rosary will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at 6:00 pm at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, July 30, 2020 in the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit.
