Tulia, Texas--Annie Beth (Drake) Wade, 80, of Marble Falls, Texas passed away of Alzheimer’s Disease on Monday, March 1, 2021 at the Arbor House Memory Care facility in Marble Falls, Texas.
Annie was born in Tulia, Texas on August 24, 1940, and she graduated from Tulia High School in 1957.
She worked for the Deaf-Blind Annex at the School for the Blind and for the Texas Commission for the Blind.
She is survived by her husband; Garland Wade, and their three children; Darrick, Roxy, and Laurie Wade. She has five grandchildren, Cami Tara, Meagan Latimer, Courtney Harville, Stephanie Whitesides, and Landon Wade, and she has nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother; John Drake of Mansfield, Texas.
A brief graveside service will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia at 10:30 on Saturday morning, March 6, 2021. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.
In a letter from a young Annie Beth to herself, she wrote, “….I will remember that we all must struggle to become.”
