Arlene Boggs (Plainview)

Arlene Boggs, 88, of Kress passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2020. Her services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 22, 2020 at the Boggs Family Farm in Kress, Texas with Kurt Oheim officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Arlene was born on December 6, 1931 to Walter L. and Eupia (Smith) Brian in Lea County, New Mexico. She married John Andrew “Andy” Boggs on September 6, 1949. She was the administrative assistant for Charlie Guy at the Lubbock A.J. Later she worked in management and sales. She is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Jean Durbin; a grandchild, Summer Boggs and a great grandchild William Baxter. She is survived by her husband Andy Boggs of Kress; her son Greg Boggs and wife Iwana of Amarillo; her sister, Maggie Lee Kostra of Plainview; two grandchildren, Tasha Baxter and husband Lance of Roscoe, Taryn Gardner and husband Cole of Amarillo; two great grandchildren, Laney and Brodey Baxter.
