Ashley Nicole Powell (Tulia)

Ashley Nicole Powell, 37, of Amarillo passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 30, 2024 at the First Baptist Church of Tulia with Superintendent David Haynes officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. 

 Ashley was born on June 23, 1986 in Tulia, Texas to Tony Powell, Sr. and Lula (Jackson) Powell. She graduated from Tulia High School in 2005. She loved attending church at the Jackson Chapel Church of God in Christ. Ashley also loved to paint and sing. She worked at Pizza Hut for a year. Ashley is remembered by her beautiful soul and always being fashionable. Her pride and joy were her baby dolls that she adored as her own: Natasha, Genice and T.J.

 She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Superintendent H.L. and Nannie Jackson and Dora White and J.D. Thomas, Paul and Lula B. Jackson, her brother, T.J. Powell.

 She is survived by her father, Tony Powell, Sr., of Plainview, her mother, Lula Powell of Amarillo, her brother, Kendrea Crosslin of Plainview, her sisters, Carlett Powell and Jason Williams of Tulia, and T’Mika Powell and husband Keezo Thomas, her nephews and nieces, Jaydasia, Kimora and Alishia Williams, Jazell Ortiz, D’adren, Jyreeck Powell, Deverianna, Deverick and Naomi Jenkins, Adriyel Thomas and Aneyah Salazar, many aunts and uncles.
