Audrey Boney (Plainview)

Audrey Arline Boney, 95, of Plainview passed away on September 3, 2021. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Kornerstone Chapel. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors.

Audrey was born on January 21, 1926 to Ernest and Florence Anderson in Chicago, Illinois. She grew up in Chicago until the age of nineteen. She attended Chicago Art Institute. She married James Boney on September 2, 1945. She moved to Plainview with her husband who was in construction and built many businesses in Plainview. She worked for Southwestern Public Service for many years. She enjoyed painting and she was a member of First Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

She was survived by several extended family members, her best friend Lupe Ruiz and caretakers, Pat Jackson and the rest of the staff at Unconditional Care, and the staff at Calvert Home Health and Traditions Hospice.
