Bethanie Luna (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas-Bethanie Sue Luna, 30, of Amarillo, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 11, 2018 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel in Tulia. Cremation burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Bethanie was born on December 18, 1987 in Tulia to Fred Dael Luna and Roberta Luna. She grew up in Tulia and Amarillo and attended Tascosa High School. She was wildly adventurous, musically talented, very creative, very intelligent and fiercely independent but most importantly her kids came first. She is preceded in death by her father: Fred Dael Luna and her grandparents: Fred Basquez Luna and Refugia Luna. She is survived by her husband: Michael Jarriel of Amarillo, two daughters: Katie Sky Jarriel and Kylie Elizabeth Jarriel, both of Amarillo, one son: Guy Hendrix Jarriel of Amarillo, her mother: Roberta Luna of Amarillo, one sister: Cristina Van Valkenburg and husband Ty of Amarillo and two brothers: Freddy Luna and Kiefer Waller, both of Amarillo and two nieces: Sienna and Lily Van Valkenburg, both of Amarillo.
