Bettie "Jane" Graham (Plainview)

Bettie "Jane" Graham, 96 of Plainview passed away peacefully after a short illness surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 25, 2024.  A visitation will be held from 11:00 am to Noon on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview.  A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday in the Kornerstone Chapel.

Jane was born August 18, 1928 in Floyd County, Texas to Ebb and Jessie Mae Warren. She married her high school sweetheart D.T. "Buddy" Graham on April 15, 1945 in South Plains, Texas.  They were married over 69 years.  Jane was a hard-working farm wife who later became one of the First Female Crop Adjusters.  She enjoyed playing Duplicate Bridge with her twin sister, Jean and many other friends.  She also enjoyed traveling to bridge tournaments and became a Life Master.  Jane was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church in Plainview where she served in the library and coordinating bereavement meals.  

Jane was preceded in death by her husband, D.T. "Buddy" Graham; her parents, Ebb and Jessie Mae Warren; and two brothers, Virgil & Dennis Warren.

Survivors include her four daughters, Janice Graham of Lake Dallas, TX, Brenda Graham of Plainview, TX, Susan Simpson & husband Rick of Plano, TX, Beverly Humes & husband Gary of Port Aransas, TX; twin sister, Jean Adams of Plainview; sister, Maxine Williams of Amarillo.  Jane was a loving wife, mother, Grannyma to her 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She loved her family very much.
