Betty Jean Rodriguez (Plainview)

Betty Jean Rodriguez, 67, of Plainview passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023. A memorial mass will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

Rosary will be held 6:00 P.M. Monday, August 28, 2023 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel.

Betty was born in Lamesa on June 24, 1956 to Burl and Ella Moore. After graduating from O’Donnell High School in 1977, she married the love of her life, Louis A. Rodriguez on April 27, 1978 in Big Springs, Texas. Betty had many talents and hobbies which includes needle work, sewing, hiking, fishing, and being a loving mother and grandmother. She loved the outdoors and was a coach for the Special Olympics for about 15 years which people witnessed her love and compassion for people. Betty was so loved and will be missed by friends and family.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents; Burl and Ella Moore, and one sister; Frances Chancy.

Betty is survived by her husband; Louis A. Rodriguez of Plainview, Texas, sons; Jeremy Rodriguez of Plainview, Texas and Bernard Fisher and wife Sara of Bennett, Nebraska, brother; Pete More, sister; Bess Cummins, grandchildren; Elissa Fisher, Maria VanMeveren, Raven Fisher, Gabe Fisher, and Remy Fisher.
