Betty Jean Vaughn (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Betty Jean Vaughn, 72, of Lubbock, formerly of Tulia, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020 in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm Friday, February 14, 2020 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

A visitation will be held from 3:00 to 4:00 pm on Friday, February 14, 2020 at the funeral home.

Betty Jean was born in Tulia on August 18, 1947 to Lloyd and Virginia Evans. She grew up in Tulia and graduated from Tulia High School. She worked in the TG&Y Warehouse in Lubbock for about 30 years before she retired.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Chris and Teresa Vaughn of Lubbock, two grandsons: Justin Crews and Trenton Vaughn, by her brother and sister-in-law: Jerry and Pat Evans of Tulia, a niece; Sheryl Damron of Tulia and two nephews; Karl Evans of Tulia and Kyle Evans of Lubbock.
