Beverly Ann Lance, 83, of Plainview passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.
Beverly Ann Lance was born on June 6, 1941, in Chillicothe, Texas. Throughout her life, Beverly left a mark in the field of education, serving as a teachers' aide at Edgemere and later as a secretary at Plainview High School and had a passion for supporting students and educators. She married the love of her life, Larry Lance, on December 27, 1959. Beverly had a vibrant personality and a heart of gold. Her love for baking and shopping brought joy to those around her, and her unwavering faith was a guiding light in her life. Beverly found great solace in her faith at the Garland Street Church of Christ, where she participated in various church activities. She cherished the role of grandmother and mother, always bringing laughter and love into the lives of her family. Her fun-loving spirit and warm presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Opal Williams, and her loving husband, Larry Lance.
Beverly is survived by her daughter, DeeDee Herrera and husband Richard of Hale Center, Texas, son, Shawn Lance of Plainview, Texas, sister, Renea Dizmang of Ponder, Texas, six grandchildren, and thirteen loving great-grandchildren.
