Billy Ray Brown (Plainview)

Billy Ray Brown, 61, of Plainview passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 6, 2025 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Burial will follow Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

A visitation will be held Wednesday evening at Kornerstone from 6 to 8 P.M.

Bill was born on September 14, 1963 in Plainview, Texas to Travis and Ada Brown. He grew up and attended school in Plainview. He worked for Wal-Mart Distribution in Maintenance before becoming a Truck Driver. He was an owner operator for many years and also drove trucks for other companies. Bill was a very talented individual and could build just about anything he put his mind to. He also loved to play the Fiddle and enjoyed playing for his family. He also loved to wheel and deal on Facebook Marketplace.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife Josie Brown of Plainview; his three children, Jacob Brown and wife Maranda, Blake Brown and wife Amber, Brittni Kriegel and husband Karl all of Corpus Christi, Texas; step-children, Stephanie Hernandez and husband Daniel Cervantez of Plainview, Elizbeth Camacho of Plainview, Joey Carrasco of Georgia; two sisters, Diane Dorsey and husband Jerry of Plainview, Becky Trevathan and husband Tom of West; 21 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
