Billy Don Crawford, III (Plainview)

Billy Don Crawford III, “Dusty”, 53, of Plainview passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel in Plainview, Texas. 

He was born to Billy Don Crawford, Jr, “Donnie” and Betty Ann Crawford on November 5, 1969 in Texas City, Texas. He drove semi trucks for several years, taking his first load alone around 15 years old. 

He loved “tinkering” in his shop, going to NASCAR races, summer vacations to Six Flags, and working to keep his yards nice and green. But, his true passion in life was trucking. He recently started his own business, DC Truck’n, LLC that he took very much pride into. One of his favorite memories was when his first ever grandson was born, and he earned his favorite title; G. 

Billy is preceeded in death by his son, Shean Perry Crawford, his father Billy Don Crawford, Jr, “Donnie”, his paternal grandparents, Don and Evelyn Crawford, his maternal grandparents, Frank and Bessie Planka. 

He is survived by his mother, Betty Ann Crawford of Alvin, Texas, his wife Beverly Crawford of Amarillo, Texas, two daughters, Keila Session and husband Dontae of Plainview, Texas, and Liberty Crawford and fiancé Ben McGee of Plainview, Texas, sister Stacie Rosier and husband Ryan of Angleton, Texas, brother James Crawford of Plainview, Texas, and one grandchild Konnor Bradley Session, and many nieces and nephews. 

We just want to say a special thank you to his nephew, Dustin Crawford for all that you did for him, and helping him anyway you could.
