Billy Ray Savage (Plainview)

Billy Ray Savage, 78, of Plainview passed away on Wednesday March 5, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 11, 2025 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

A visitation will be held on Monday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at Kornerstone.

Billy was born on April 1, 1946 in Plainview, Texas to James and Mildred Savage. He attended schools in Plainview. He was farmer for many years and later was a Tanker Truck Driver. Billy was a long-time member of College Heights Baptist Church.

Billy married Linda Cheatheam on October 7, 1981 in Clovis, New Mexico.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Grady and James Carrol Savage.

Survivors include his wife Linda Savage of Plainview; step-daughter, Melinda Mullins of Hale Center; sister-in-law, Carolyn Jennings of Plainview; three grandchildren, Lisa Bandy and husband Josh of Martinsburg, West Virginia, John Barrett of Midland, Brittney Barrett and husband Josh Smith of Lubbock; six great grandchildren, Kyrin, Aleera, Orlando, Zoie, Adalynn, McKenzie; and many nieces and nephews.
