Billy Mack Templeton (Plainview)

Billy Mack “Bill” Templeton, 82, of Plainview died on Thursday, May 3, 2018. A graveside service will be held at Plainview Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. on Monday May 7, 2018 with Mr. Bob Dupont, Interim Hospice Chaplain officiating. Services are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview. Visitation will be held from 4:00- 6:00 P.M. Sunday, May 6, 2018 at the funeral home. Bill was born on August 20, 1935 in Amherst, Texas to James and Emma Etta (Brannon) Templeton. He married Shirley “Sam” on January 20, 1977. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and a daughter, Sue Collier. He is survived by a daughter, Sherli Templeton of Gardendale, Texas; a son, Steve Templeton and wife Kathy of Plainview, Texas; a sister, Vernlee Rose of Amherst, Texas; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
