Tulia, Texas—Bob Turner, 75, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 in Tulia. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

Bob Wayne Turner was born on March 25, 1944 in Tulia to Robert and Marie Turner.  HE grew up in Tulia and attended Tulia Schools. He joined the US Army and served during the Vietnam war from October 1966 to October 1968. During this time he received his GED. He was a truck driver all his life. He drove a cattle truck for Meridian Order Buyers of Meridian, Mississippi for several years. He married Jeanine Thomas on August 1, 1984.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one son: Trace Turner and one step-daughter: Monte Hollabaugh.

He is survived by his wife: Jeanine Turner of Tulia, one daughter: Stacy Evelo of Tijeras, NM, one step-daughter: Lynn Reves of Scottsdale, AZ, two brothers: Rance Turner of Amarillo and Leland Turner of Round Rock, five grandchildren: Devon Ramirez and husband Christopher of Tijeras, NM, Alexander Evelo of Tijeras, NM, Justin Hollabaugh and wife Erica of Amarillo, Serenity Hollabaugh of Scottsdale, AZ, Brittney Cruz of San Antonio ad Leah Turner of San Antonio and his great grandchildren: Harley Hollabaugh, Dakota Hollabaugh, Remi Cruz, Isaiah Cruz.
