Bobby Huerta (Tulia)

Rodolfo “Bobby” Huerta passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024. A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM to 6 PM on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 and Thursday, August 1, 2024 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Cremation services are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. 

Bobby was born on June 10, 1953, in San Marcos, Texas, Bobby was the beloved son of Jesus and Hortencia (Garcia) Huerta. Raised in Kress, Texas, he received his education in the local schools. Throughout his life, Bobby was dedicated to his work in the construction industry, notably with Thrasher Incorporated. Following his retirement, he continued to contribute as a senior driver for the Dodge House. An unwavering fan of the Dallas Cowboys, he found joy in traveling across the country, though his greatest happiness was found in spending cherished moments with his family. Bobby's passion for poker was well-known, often punctuated by his favorite phrase, "All in." Bobby’s final day was spent peacefully fishing alongside his beloved sisters. Bobby leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will be forever treasured by those who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Hortencia Huerta, his brothers, Ray Huerta and Alfredo Huerta and his sister, Janie Collazo.

He is survived by his siblings, Jesse Huerta, Jr. and wife Liz, Richard Huerta and wife Connie, Diego Huerta, Lupe Huerta and wife Maria, Diana Bullock and husband Jerry, Angie Esquivel, Rosa Huerta and Sandy Huerta and numerous nieces and nephews.
