Brian Lynn Painter passed from his earthly home on Sunday, September 9, 2018 in Amarillo, Tx. He was born March 8, 1954 in Muleshoe, Tx to Albert and Mittie Lee Dykes Painter. He grew up on a farm SW of Edmonson. He graduated from Plainview High School in 1972. Brian was extraordinary when it came to his farming and welding skills. He farmed for several years and did contract welding until his health no longer permitted him to do so. Left to cherish his memories are his children, Kassidi Maxwell (Pace) of Lewisville, Tx., a son, Tyler Painter (Micah) of Lubbock, Dillon Painter (Taryn) of Lubbock and Devin Painter of Borger, Tx. , six grandchildren, a sister, Sharon Threadgill of Ft. Worth, a sister, Donna Ware (Larry) of Spring Hill, Tennessee, a brother, Alton Painter (Kathy) of Edmonson. He is preceded in death by a son, Jeremy Painter and his parents. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m.,Friday, September 14, 2018 in Plainview Memorial Park with Grady Simmons officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview.
