Cristobal H. Garcia (Plainview)

Cristobal Garcia, 60, of Plainview passed away on Friday, December 25, 2020 in Lubbock.  He was born on August 21, 1960 in Plainview, Texas to Gumecindo and Maria (Herrera) Garcia.  Chris grew up in Plainview and graduated from Plainview High School in 1979. He was a farmer his whole life before he retired due to his health.  He was a catholic and member of the Knights of Columbus.  He loved Eagles and all their beauty.  He also enjoyed growing Ivies inside his home.  He loved to help and feed people all over the community and would starve to feed others.  

Chris was preceded in death by his mother, Maria; his grandfather, Ysabel M. Herrera and a sister, Rosie Garcia.

Chris is survived by his father Gumecindo Garcia; four brothers, Gumecindo H. Garcia , Jr.and wife Virginia, David H. Garcia and wife Mickey, Joe Michael Garcia and wife Erica, and Robert Garcia and wife Amy all of Plainview; brother-in-law, Artemio Garcia and many nieces and nephews.
