Clara Jimenez (Plainview)

Clara Jimenez, 95, of Hale Center passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2020. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Harvest Christian Fellowship with Brad Snellgrove and Anthony Longoria officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

A visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, January 17, 2020 at Kornerstone.

Clara was born on August 12, 1924 in Cotulla, Texas to Gabriel and Martina Gonzalez. She married Emilio Jimenez on January 8, 1939 in Cotulla, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a daughter Emma Jimenez.

She is survived by her daughters, Mary Calderon of Hale Center, Ramona Trevino and husband Benny of Duncanville, Janie Calderon and husband Raymond of Hale Center, Olga Quintana and husband John of Hale Center, Josie Silvas of Hale Center, Alma Pool and husband Rick of Hale Center, Sylvia Luera and husband Roy of Hale Center, Martha Medina and husband Frank of Olton, Amy Puente and husband Jerry of Hale Center, Torii Jimenez of Plainview; her sons, Emilio Jimenez, Jr. and wife Lupe of Hale Center, Johnny Jimenez and wife Olivia of Justin, Robert Jimenez and wife Alma of Hale Center, Ricky Jimenez and wife Sheila of Hale Center, Eddie Jimenez of Hale Center; sister, Tomasa Flores of Cotulla; 425 plus grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
