Claudette Furgeson (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Claudette Furgeson, 81, passed away on Thursday, October 11, 218. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, October 15, 2018 in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia with Rev. Eddy Helms, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Claudette was born in Tulia to John Jasper and Cleo Hutson on October 24, 1936. She grew up in Tulia and attended Tulia schools. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She married Bill Furgeson on December 12, 1966. He passed away on January 23, 2009. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and three brothers and one sister: Shot Hutson, Wandie Hutson, J.C. Hutson and Earlene Thornton. She is survived by three sons: Larry Freeman and wife Leslie of Cyprus, Jimmy Freeman and wife Linda of Marshall and Randy Baker and wife Lola of Tulia, one sister-in-law: Bobbie Hutson of Southfork, Colorado, ten grandchildren: Kristin Gabel, Lauren Freeman, Josh Freeman, Alyssa McGee, Trey Baker, Stephanie Casner, Chris Dumcum, Greg Holland, Mark Holland and Ryan Richardson and fourteen great grandchildren.
