Clydell Grantham (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Clydell Grantham, 84, passed away on Monday, December 17, 2018 in Tulia. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, December 21, 2018 at Rose Hill Cemetery following a memorial service at 11:00 AM in the Tulia Kornerstone Directors Chapel with Rev. Charles Davenport officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Clydell was born on August 11, 1934 in Earth, Texas to Clyde and Faye Carter. She attended schools in Tulia and graduated from Tulia High School in 1951. She married Donald Grantham on March 1, 1951. They farmed until 1965 then moved to Guymon, OK and later Dumas and other area towns with Donald’s work. They returned to Tulia in 1995. She was a devoted wife to Donald and a loving homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and an infant daughter: Mary Elizabeth Grantham, one brother: Damon Carter and two sisters: JoAnn Rice Ford and Joyce Grubb. Her family includes her two sons: Randy Grantham and wife Vicky of Tulia and Kelley Grantham of Lubbock, her daughter: Carol Priddy of Happy, four grandchildren: Taylor Priddy of Tulia, Jamie Kilgore of Lubbock, Casie Grantham of Tulia and Ryan Grantham of Amarillo and 5 great grandchildren.
