Concepcion A. Villanueva (Plainview)

Concepcion A. Villanueva, 95, of Arlington passed away on June 16, 2022. A Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father George Poonely officiating. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

A rosary will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Kornerstone Chapel.

Concepcion was born on December 8, 1926 to Jorge Arellano Sr and Guadalupe N. Arellano.

Mrs. Villanueva lived most of her life in the Panhandle area, Petersburg, Plainview and Lubbock. She worked in the PISD as a teacher’s aide for many years. She also worked for Heritage Nursing Home as a nurse’s aide and retired. She has gone to live with the lord. We will greatly miss her. She is now resting in peace with loved ones that have passed, she will be greatly missed by those who loved and cared for her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Jorge Arellano Sr and Guadalupe N. Arellano; her husband, Ramon Villanueva; her two sons Tomas Villanueva and Rene Villanueva.

She is survived by two daughters, Rachel Molinar and Janie Lopez; four sons, Jamie Villanueva, Felix Villanueva, Avelino Villanueva and Ramon Villanueva Jr.; one brother, Armando Arellano; one sister, Aurora Pena. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
