Daniel Garcia (Plainview)

Daniel Garcia, 67, of Hale Center passed away on September 21, 2022 in Lubbock, Texas. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel in Plainview. Interment will follow at Hale Center Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Daniel was born on February 1, 1955 to Antonio and Elisia Garcia. He joined the Army and spent 5 years serving and 15 years being a maintenance mechanic for the government. He was a hard worker, he kept himself busy. He loved fishing and listening to rock and roll along with the oldies. Daniel was willing to help anyone around him. He loved being surrounded by his family and friends. He loved life.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Ma De Lourdes Lugo; his sons, Kevin Garcia and wife Victoria Cantu, Carlos Trigueros, Jorge Trigueros and Michael Trigueros; his daughter Erminda Garcia and husband Felix Hernandez; his brothers, Robert Garcia, Benny Garcia and Greg “Dreg” Garcia; his sister, Sabina Ramos; his grandchildren, Janelle M. Garcia, Christian C. Garcia, Isabella Cardenas, Danny K. Garcia, Rhonda Cantu, Jose Raul Garcia, Brittney L. Garcia, Danielle Garcia, America Garcia, Gabriella Garcia, Paris Hernandez, Carlos Trigueros, Angel Trigueros, Lia Trigueros, Areli Trigueros and Alyssa Guillen; his daughter in law, Melissa Salazar.

Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Alice Garcia of Hale Center, Texas; brother, Tony Garcia Jr. of Lubbock, Texas; 3 sisters, Ophelia of Phoenix, AZ, Isabel of Hale Center, Texas., Balbina of Hale Center, Texas., Son, Daniel Jr. (Nano) of Weslaco, Texas., and great grandson Julius of Midland, Texas.
