Deborah Kay Shelton (Neme Mimi), 64, of Hale Center passed on December 12, 2020 in Plainview, Texas. A memorial service will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 18, 2020 at Caudle Lake in Hale Center with Terry Wright of Jerusalem Community Baptist Church in Hale Center officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.
Deborah was born on August 16, 1956 to Nancy and Garland Shelton . She Grew up in Southlake,Tx. Growing up she discovered her love and talent for music , art and photography. She graduated from Southlake Carroll High School then proceeded to go to college at MSU . Later down the road she gave birth to her only child Sunshine Jo Waller on September 14th 1979 . Deborah has a beautiful soul , she was free spirited , and loves like no other . She spent her free time drawing , painting and taking pictures of her daughter during school functions and extracurricular activities and nature .
She was preceded in death by her dad, Garland and her sister, Ronda Shelton .
Survivors include her mother Nancy Stewart , her daughter Sunshine Waller and husband Todd Waller . Three grandchildren Hailey Fluharty , Taylor and Ayden Waller , One great granddaughter Hazel Waller all of Hale Center .
