Delia Perez (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas-Delia Perez, 57, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 5, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 11, 2021, in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Pastor Joe Gonzales, officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

A prayer service will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 P.M. Friday, September 10, 2021, in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel.

Delia was born on July 19, 1964, in Tulia to Alberto Perez and Delfina Aranda. She attended Tulia High School and later went to work for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in the Tulia Unit for 10 years. She moved to Amarillo and worked for the City of Amarillo as a Park Tech for many years. First and foremost, Delia was an amazing mother to all her kids. No matter the situation, she always put them first. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. Delia was also a very hard worker and a great friend. Delia loved to ride horses, ride motorcycles, she loved birds and collected dream catchers. She enjoyed spending time with family at the lake, always had a joke to say or a prank to play, her smile was so contagious.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Alberto Perez and Delfina Aranda, her sisters; Alicia Perez and Anita Aranda Perez, her brother; Alberto Perez, Jr., her grandson; Xavier Saldana.

She is survived by her children; Stephanie Saldana, Priscilla Saldana, Fabian Saldana III, Christian Saldana and Erika Saldana, her brother; Daniel Perez, her sister; Delfina Perez, her grandchildren; Breeana Saldana, Audreana Saldana, Reyna Carbajal, Natacia Saldana, Adrian Saldana, Anthony Saldana, Dezaray Saldana, Aryana Beck, Adelyn Trevino, Jaden Saldana, Emory Saldana, Eli Saldana, and Baby Adriel Saldana.
