Dolores Lee Hannah (Tulia)

Dolores Lee (Miller) Hannah, 80, went to her Heavenly Home on December 24, 2024. Her steadfast faith in God sustained her through her final days, and she is now at peace. Dolores was born to the late Earl E. and Beulah Lorraine Miller in Moore County on January 24, 1944. She spent her entire life in the Texas Panhandle and was a proud graduate of Canyon High School. Dolores was blessed with a loving family. She married Wylie Keith Hannah on September 14, 1962, in Canyon, Texas. Together, they raised three children, all of whom remember Dolores as a devoted and compassionate mother. In her early adult life, Dolores dedicated herself to being a full-time mother. Later, she worked as a bookkeeper for various businesses in Tulia, Texas, and concluded her career at the Tulia Chamber of Commerce.

Dolores cherished spending time with Wylie as they traveled to watch their grandchildren participate in sports, band, cheerleading, and other activities in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. When Wylie’s health began to decline, she moved with him to Fort Worth to be closer to their children and grandchildren, and she remained there after his passing in 2019.

Dolores is survived by her son Brian and wife Carol; her son Bruce; and her daughter Rhonda Turner and husband Berry, all of whom reside in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. She is also survived by her siblings: Sharon Scott; Debbie Cleveland and husband Gene; Kevin Miller and wife Terri; as well as her grandchildren: Tyler Hannah, Daneyl Walker, Keila Butler and husband Winston, Tanner Hannah, Tully Hannah, Brycen Turner, Britten Turner, Addy Turner, Michael Gonzales, and Ashlyn Gonzales; four great-grandchildren: Zoe Walker, Kaylee Walker, Hannah Butler, and Ava Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings: Carl Miller and wife Lorena, James (Jimmy) Miller, Neva Watson and husband Bill, and Lois Neeley.
