Dominga L. Garcia (Plainview)

Dominga L. Garcia, 98, passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Mr. Oscar Chavez, Chaplain of Area Community Hospice officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview, Texas. Visitation will be held from 5-7 P.M., Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Garcia was born on March 5, 1920. She married Arturo Garcia on August 25, 1959 in Plainview. He preceded her in death on April 11, 2017. She is survived by four daughters, Felma Sanchez & husband Ray of Davenport, IA, Mary Lou Favela & husband Milton, Jr. of Grand Prairie, Elizabeth Rodriguez & husband Rene of Amarillo and Cynthia Ruiz & husband Rene of Plainview; two sons, Arthur Garcia, Jr. & wife Elena of Lubbock and Jimmy Garcia & wife Beatrice of Plainview; one brother, Julian Baldez of Modesto, CA; one sister, Natalia Martinez of Amarillo, TX; twelve grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
