Dorman Lee Dunn, Jr. (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Dorman Lee Dunn, Jr., 59, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2020 in Lubbock. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 31, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Kress Cemetery, Kress Texas.  Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2020 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Tulia.

Dorman Lee Dunn, Jr. was born on March 8, 1960 in Plainview, Texas to Dorman Lee, Sr. and Margaret Ann (Fore) Dunn. He was raised in Tulia and later moved to Canadian and graduated from Canadian High School in 1978. Dorman joined the United States Army in 1982 and was discharge in 1991. After the army he moved to Michigan and worked as a carpenter. He moved to Lubbock and worked at Atterbury Grain in the Tulia and Lubbock area. Dorman liked to collect anything with Eagles and pens. Coming to Tulia to see his parents and spending time with his family meant the world to him. He was a member of the Methodist Church in Kress.

He is survived by his wife; Tammy Dunn, three daughters; Tasha Dunn of Hastings, Michigan, Tara Mathis and husband Tommy of Lubbock and Amber Lowe and husband Michael of Lubbock, one son; Zack Lowe and wife Caitlyn of Lubbock, his parents; Dorman, Sr. and Margaret Dunn of Tulia, one brother; Clinton Wayne Dunn of Colorado, one sister; Donna Fay Worcester of Amarillo, nine grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
