Edward Casanova Sr. (Plainview)

Edward Casanova, 87, of Plainview passed away on October 28, 2021. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Kornerstone Chapel with Joe Barrera officiating. Arrangements under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors.

A visitation will be held 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Kornerstone Chapel.

Edward Casanova was born on August 7, 1934 in Graytown, Texas to Edward and Anita Casanova. Edward married Evalina Sierra April 30, 1966 and together they shared seven kids. He worked as a farmhand for 50 years for Browning Seed where he later retired.

Edward is preceded in death by his wife, Evalina Casanova; his parents, Edward and Anita Casanova; his stepson, Manuel Mendez; and two stepdaughters, Yolanda Mendez and Peggy Uribe.

He is survived by his children, Liz Garcia of Plainview, TX, Edward Jr. and Anita Casanova of Crossroads, Tx, Norma Casanova of Plainview, TX, Freddy and Brenda Contreras of Dallas, TX; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
