Elaine Ellena (Plainview)

Elaine Ellena, 74, of Plainview passed away on Monday November 20, 2017. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Kornerstone Chapel with Dr. Richard Shaw officiating. Visitation will follow the service. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Elaine was born on July 31, 1943 in Lansing, Michigan to Clarence and Vernetta (Warren) Thomas. She married Dominic John Ellena on April 8, 1960 in Lansing Michigan, he passed away on November 9, 2016. Elaine moved to Plainview in 1980. She worked for Wal-Mart for 20 years and served as a department manager. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Elaine is survived by her four daughters, Anna Ellena and husband, Pete Lopez of Plainview, Tammy Montgomery and husband, Mark of Sulphur Springs, Elaine Anderson and husband, Roy of Sulphur Springs, Cathy Gonzales and husband, Manuel of Naples, Florida; two brothers, Floyd Thomas of Lansing, Michigan, Lyman Thomas of Tennessee, two sisters, Marion Muhlenbeck of South Carolina, Marlene Goodrich of California; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
