Tulia, Texas-Elizabeth Megan Guzman, 32, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 11, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. in the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit with Father Hector Madrigal officiating and assisted by Monsignor Rex. Nicholl. Funeral services under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. A visitation will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 P.M. Saturday, September 9, 2023 and a rosary held at 5:30 to 7:30 P.M. Sunday, September 10, 2023 in the Kornerstone Chapel. Elizabeth was born on April 1, 1991, in Plainview, Texas to Carlos Guzman and Melissa (Pendleton) George. She attended Prosper High School in Prosper, Texas and graduated in 2009. After graduating she attended Amarillo College. Elizabeth loved spending time with her family and friends. Beth had a personality that would light up the room. She always made her arrival known by her loud voice, laughter, and smile. She showed compassion to anyone who needed a friend. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Sabino Guzman. She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Melissa George and husband Cliffton of Amarillo; her father and stepmother, Carlos Guzman and wife Erica of Amarillo; her son, Slayton Cagle; her daughter, Hadlee Cagle both of Quitaque; her brothers, Carlos Guzman, Jr. and wife Linda of Amarillo and Christian Guzman Amarillo; her step-brother, Christian Brooks and wife Carolina of Dumas; her step-sister, Taylin Jaeger and husband Charlie of Pampa; her maternal grandparents, Steve Pendleton and wife Karla of Silverton, CO and her grandmother, Colleen Pepper of Amarillo; her paternal grandmother, Bertha Guzman of Tulia; Beth has multiple aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins whom she adored.
