Enga Barley (Plainview)

Enga Barley, 74, passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2018. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 14, 2018 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Oscar Chavez, Area Community Hospice, Chaplain officiating. Burial will follow at Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Enga was born on September 19, 1943 in Konigstein, Germany to Hans Wilhelm Rockenfeller and Elisabeth (Josbacher) Rockenfeller. She attended Plainview Schools and Wayland Baptist University. She was co-owner of Plains Refrigeration Service until retiring in 2013. She married the love of her life, Vertis C. Barley, on October 16, 1960 in Amarillo, Texas. He died on February 28, 2016 in Plainview. Through the years she was involved with Boys Scouts, Girls Scouts and the Plainview Band Boosters. She is preceded in death by her husband and her father, Hans Wilhelm Rockenfeller. She is survived by her mother, Elsie Graham of Hereford, Texas; one daughter, Tricia Wheeler and her husband Al of Greenville, Texas; one son, Michael Barley of Lubbock, Texas; one brother, Bill Rockenfeller and his wife Kathy of Amarillo, Texas; two sisters, Ruth Radloff and her husband Harry of Hereford, Texas and Alice Wright and her husband Kent of Amarillo, Texas; three grandchildren, Ashleigh James and her husband Christopher of Greenville, Texas, Alexa LeBeau and fiancé Chad Cunningham of Tyler, Texas, Madison LeBeau of Greenville, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.
