Enriqueta Gonzalez Garcia (Plainview)

Enriqueta Garcia, 88, of Plainview passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father George Poonely officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park.

 A rosary will be held at 6:00 P.M., Monday, July 18, 2022 at the funeral home.

She was born on November 9, 1933 in Rocksprings, Texas to Gabriel M. and Emma (Barrera) Gonzalez. She married Apolinar “Paul” Garcia, Sr. on April 13, 1957 in Plainview. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul Garcia, Sr and one granddaughter, Carrissa Gonzales. 

Mrs. Garcia is survived by two daughters, Diana Gonzales and husband Fernando of Plainview and Velma Sanchez and husband Manuel of Plainview; two sons, Oscar Garcia & wife Melva of Plainview and Paul Garcia of Plainview; four brothers, Jose Gonzalez of Plainview, Hector B. Gonzales of Plainview, Robert B. Gonzales of Temple and Gabriel B. Gonzales, Jr. of Plainview; twelve grandchildren; twenty six great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
