Esperanza Alcala (Plainview)

Esperanza Alcala, 81, passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2020 in Plainview. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Plainview Cemetery with Rev. George Poonely officiating. Services are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

She was born on April 18, 1939 to Cecilio and Celerina Reyna in Mexico. She was married to Gonzalo Alcala. Esperanza was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a son, Gonzalo Alcala.

She is survived by her daughters, Juanita Vela, Bertha Martinez, Elizabeth Thompson, Herminia Zuniga, Esperanza Cantu, Sandra Alcala; her sons, Manuel Alcala, Alfredo Alcala, Pablo Alcala; twenty-one grandchildren, and sixty-five great grandchildren.
