Evan Ehly (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Evan Ehly, 33, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2019. A Mass of a Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 4, 2020 in the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit with Pastor David Contreras officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

A rosary and a vigil service will be held on Friday, January 3, 2020 at 5:30 to 7:00 pm in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel.

Evan was born on May 1, 1986 in Tulia, Texas to Arnold and Shawn (McNutt) Ehly. He graduated from Tulia High School in 2004 and later attended Amarillo College and received his Associates in (HVAC) in 2009. He worked for Tulia ISD for 2 years and Ed Harris Lumber Company for 6 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus fraternal organization in the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit. Evan was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys and all the Tulia Hornets sports. He enjoyed grilling, working on his house and getting together with family and friends.

He is survived by his parents: Arnold and Shawn Ehly of Tulia, one sister: Chelsey Ehly Carroll of Lubbock, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
