Frances Perez (Plainview)

Frances Perez, 72, of Plainview passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Frances was born on August 25, 1949 in Levelland, Texas to Moises and Juanita Armendarez. She married Jonny Perez on November 5, 1968 in Vernon, Texas then moved to Houston, Texas in 1978 where she came a licensed CNA and lived there until after retirement. Jonny served in the Army and is a former printing press operator for Exxon. After moving back to West Texas, Frances worked at Prairie House Living Center in Plainview Texas and enjoyed every moment of it. Her passions included taking long walks in the outdoors, gardening, caring for animals, and loving her pet Chihuahua, Cholula. Frances is preceded in death by her husband Johnny Perez, parents; Moises and Juanita Armendarez, second parent; Eloisa Gonzales, three sisters; Rosa Cantu, Guadalupe Gomez, and Paula Armendarez, two brothers; Jose and Juan Armendarez, and grandson; Taylor Perez. Frances is survived by her daughter Cynthia Perez of Houston, Texas, 2 sons; Jonny Perez, Jr. of Kress, Texas, and Jerald Perez of Kress, Texas, second parent; Jose Gonzales, grandchildren; Jonathan Lopez, Amanda Lopez, Valarie Hinojosa, and Jeremy Perez. The family would like to personally thank all the staff at Prairie House Living Ceneter and Interim Hospice.
