Lazcano, 72, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at his home in Plainview, Texas. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Plainview Memorial Park with Father George Poonely officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview, Texas. A rosary will be held at 6 P.M. on Friday, January 1, 2021 at the funeral home. Mr. Lazcano was born on May 12, 1948 in Mexico to Pedro & Isabel Beanes Lazcano. He married Maria Socorro Canales on September 13, 1970. She preceded him in death on March 6, 2017. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church for numerous years. Gaspar was a major prankster and loved making people laugh. He was very ornery but personable and made friends easily. He had an incredible work ethic, loved his job and was good at it. Gaspar loved his garden and was an expert salsa maker and pecan sheller. He is survived by three daughters, Dina Sepulveda of Hereford, Norma Lazcano of Plainview and Cindy Castillo of Amarillo; one son, Gaspar Lazcano Jr. of Plainview; four brothers, Oscar Lazcano, Ramiro Lazcano, Ricardo Lazcano and Manuel Lazcano all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one sister, Guadalupe Ibanez of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Vanessa Lee Seca, Pete Seca IV, Natalie Paola Sepulveda, Marisol Holguin, Ivan Torres, Joseph Tomas Castillo and Stella Maria Castillo.
